A contingency plan was activated in the district and the population is asked to calm down

An emergency meeting held the Mayor of Ventanilla, Jhovinson Vasquez together with their municipal officials to deal with possible consequences due to the latest rainfall produced in Lima and Callao, and that could affect the residents of the district.

These preventive actions were taken after the SENAMHI announce light to moderate intensity rains for the next few days, until March 15; as a consequence, the Municipality of Ventanilla has activated a contingency plan and the team Disaster Risk Managementis ready to act immediately.
