There were earlier reports that the shooting of ‘Kaiti 2’, the sequel to the Lokesh Kanakraj-Karthi film ‘Kaiti’, will begin this year. It is reported that Lokesh will start the pre-production work of Kaiti 2 as soon as the shooting of ‘Leo’ starring Vijay is completed. It is also reported that Sam CS will be composing the music for the film. Sam composed the music for the first part as well.
It is reported that the first draft of the script of Kaiti 2 has already been completed. Lokesh is expected to start shooting for the film by the end of this year. But there is no official confirmation.
Soon after the success of the first part, Dream Warrior Pictures announced the second part of ‘Kaiti’. The second part was delayed because Lokesh and Karthi had to complete the projects they had signed earlier. There is also news that the film will be the biggest in Lokesh’s cinematic universe.
Karthi’s role as Dilli in Kaiti was also in Lokesh’s last release ‘Vikram’. Kaiti 2 will be LCU’s third film.
