PHOENIX – One man is dead and another wounded and is in the hospital after being shot in a west Phoenix neighborhood early Tuesday morning, according to police.
The shooting occurred around 1:30 am near 29th Ave. and Moreland St, south of Interstate 10. Upon arrival, officers found two men with gunshot wounds who were later taken to a nearby hospital.
One of the men died of his injuries and the second is expected to survive. Authorities are investigating the cause of the shooting.
