Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Chinese cellphone manufacturers have recently been competing to showcase fast charging innovations (fast charging). The latest technology is presented by Xiaomi with fast charging 300W which is capable of fully charging the battery in less than 5 minutes.
The battery is indeed one of the important aspects that determine the quality of a cellphone. There’s no point in fierce specifications and advanced features if the battery is wasteful.
Research firm DxOMark recently released a line of cellphones with the best batteries for 2023. It turns out that there are more middle-class cellphones on the list than expensive cellphones.
In first place is the Honor Magic 5 Lite 5G released in February 2023 which targets the middle class at a price of US $ 379 (Rp. 5.8 million), quoted from the official DxOMark website, Wednesday (15/3/2023).
Honor Magic 5 Lite 5G has a battery with a capacity of 5,100 mAh. These specifications are jumbo and rare, because other manufacturers usually set a capacity of 5,000 mAh or 4,500 mAh.
This cellphone also supports fast charging 40W, in fact, is still considered standard when compared to the Realme and Xiaomi lines.
However, the DxOMark test can be trusted because each device is tested for 150 hours in a charge/discharge state. Testing also looks at 100 measurement points for each HP.
The main indicators seen in testing are battery efficiency or durability, charging speed, and entering various conditions such as use at home and outside the home.
