Xiaomi Launches a $230 Alternative to the iPhone Mini, Dubbed as a “Competitor” – ProstoMob.

Xiaomi-owned Duoqin has unveiled the third-generation Qin compact smartphone. The Xiaomi Qin 3 Ultra model is positioned by the manufacturer as an alternative to the iPhone mini.

Details

The novelty has the following dimensions: body length – 126.8 mm, width – 61.85 mm, thickness – 8.7 mm. For comparison, the length of the iPhone 13 mini is 146.7 mm, the width is 71.5 mm, and the thickness is 7.4 mm. The smartphone turned out to be extremely compact. Xiaomi claims that it is not felt in the pocket.

Specifications:

  • 60 Hz 5″ IPS display (HD+).
  • Microprocessor MTK Helio G99.
  • 8 MP main camera and 5 MP front camera.
  • NFC, 5G-modem, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 5.
  • AKB at 2 500 mA*h.

The smartphone is offered for purchase in a configuration of 8/256 GB. Despite the small capacity of the battery pack, in standby mode Xiaomi Qin 3 Ultra is able to work on a single charge for seven days.

The cost of the smartphone in the Chinese market is 1,599 yuan, which is equivalent to 8,500 UAH. It is not yet available on trading platforms like JD.com and AliExpress, but it is only a matter of time.
