The Minister of the Interior awarded the Knight’s Cross of the Hungarian Order of Merit to fire lieutenant colonel József Molnár, the civil defense supervisor of the Dunaújváros disaster prevention branch.
Firefighter Lieutenant-Colonel József Molnár began his professional service as a firefighter on August 1, 1985 at the Fejér County Fire Department. During his long career, he testified to his integrity, persistence, and dedication in many cases. His service is characterized by a sense of responsibility and commitment to the safety of citizens. During his 37 years of service, he received praise and rewards on several occasions for the exemplary performance of his duties. In 2011, he received recognition from the Minister of the Interior in recognition of his outstanding performance in the prevention of the red mud disaster and during the rescue. His commitment to his profession is reflected in the fact that he has been monitoring and assisting the work of volunteer and facility firefighters since the beginning of his professional service, and since 2016 he has been the president of the Fejér County Firefighters Association. His theoretical knowledge is outstanding, he always performs his tasks with the utmost care and attention, and his professional dedication can be set as an example for the younger generation.
