[앵커] Chung Eui-sun, chairman of Hyundai Motor Group, Choi Tae-won, chairman of Korea Chamber of Commerce, and Cho Hyun-joon, chairman of Hyosung Group, gathered together.

Chairman Chung Eui-sun, who became the first subject of the ‘Share Together Project’ supervised by the ‘New Entrepreneurship Council’ of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, chose to be a firefighting civil servant.

[기자] Hyundai Motor Group, along with the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Hyosung Group, started supporting the welfare and safety of firefighting officials.

The ‘Share Together Project’, which was held for the first time at the Ulsan Northern Fire Station on the 14th, is a program in which members of the council voluntarily select social contribution areas, and the business community jointly proceeds.

Hyundai Motor Group remodeled its bus into a ‘disaster site firefighter’s recovery bus’ and delivered it to the National Fire Agency.

[씽크] Chung Eui-sun / Chairman of Hyundai Motor Group : The disaster site recovery bus we plan to provide will be custom-made for the site with the opinions of firefighters who will actually use it.

[기자] The ‘disaster site firefighter recovery bus’ is a total of 5.2 billion won, including special installation costs, and consists of 8 premium buses, including one hydrogen electric bus.

Currently, there are only 10 vehicles nationwide that allow firefighters to take breaks during firefighting and disaster relief operations.

[기자] Chey Tae-won, chairman of the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said, “Firefighters who are the first to rush to help and protect in the event of a fire or accident are the hidden heroes of entrepreneurs.”

Hyosung Group Chairman Cho Hyun-joon responded by saying, “We will find and support areas that will improve the welfare of firefighters, and help solve our social problems together from a business standpoint.”
