Gennai Hiraga is Anne Suzuki, announced three additional cast members for Season 2 of “Ooku” starting this fall
Three additional casts have been announced for the drama 10 “Ooku Season 2”, which will start in the fall of 2023 and depict the parallel world of “reversal of men and women” up to the restoration of the imperial rule. Gennai Hiraga will be played by Anne Suzuki. Reo Tamaki as Kuroki. Tatsugo Murasame will play the role of Aonuma.
Gennai Hiraga … Anne Suzuki
An up-and-coming herbalist. He moves to elucidate smallpox.
Anne Suzuki commented, “I’m shivering with the honor of being able to participate in the magnificent work ‘Ooku’ and living ‘Hiraga Gennai’. Gennai is cool, charming, intelligent, funny, a genius and a genius… he is a multifaceted and very attractive person. He’s such a wonderful person that I’m worried about whether he’ll be the one for me, but I want him to cherish his life and his soul. ”

After working as an apprentice in Osanma, he became a right hand assistant and assisted Aonuma (Tatsugo Murasame).

Aonuma: Tatsugo Murasame
Born between a Dutchman and a Maruyama courtesan, he grew up in Nagasaki. While giving lectures on orchid medicine, he aims to eradicate smallpox.
Tatsugo Murasame commented, “I am a big fan of Japanese traditional culture and history, and it is a great honor for me to play the role of Aonuma in a work that is loved by everyone called ‘Ooku’. I think that the role I received this time is a very important part in “Ooku”. I am filled with joy that I have fulfilled my two dreams, the manga original and the historical drama, and I am filled with a sense of responsibility to have the important role of Aonuma. I will do my best to give a memorable performance to everyone. ”
