Go-Ahead now offers a carriage for hire for larger groups traveling along the Sørlandsbanen. Up to 56 people in the entourage can fit in the same carriage.
TRAIN: The scheme for Go-Ahead is aimed at companies that are going on a work trip or groups of friends on excursions.
– In this way, Go-Ahead ensures a smoother journey, and gives, for example, the work trip or kickoff a social start, says Go-Ahead.
The carriage that is rented is either at the front or at the back of the train, so that it is undisturbed and arranged for various team building activities.
There is access to free coffee and tea, in addition to the fact that it is a short distance to the café cart, which offers something for everyone. It is also possible to order food for the trolley.
– This offer is perfect for companies that want to organize a kick-off or company trip starting by train, and can make effective use of the work trip. It will not just be a wasted transport leg, but can be filled with professional or social activities, says Simen Lockert Rohde, responsible for product and customer experience at Go-Aheadheter in a press release.
Carriage hire is also aimed at groups of friends or sports teams.
Sørtoget is the regional train with the most departures per day, and is therefore a good option for a flexible and sustainable start to your work journey.
Companies or groups that want to rent a carriage on Sørtoget must order no later than 90 days before departure and the train carriage can accommodate up to 56 passengers.
