Real Madrid had announced the prosecution of Barcelona in the case of accusing the Catalan team of sports corruption known as “Negrera”, which angered Laporta, the president of the Blaugrana, who described them as scoundrels and those who are trying to smear the Catalan team’s logo.
The Catalan newspaper “Mundo Deportivo” reported that Barcelona’s president, Joan Laporta, canceled the usual special protocol before Real Madrid’s matches, in the upcoming El Clasico in the Spanish League at the “Spotify Camp Nou” stadium.
The newspaper added that the Barcelona president will not meet Perez again before the El Clasico match, and the two will not have the usual lunch before the El Clasico, as the first response from Barca to his prosecution by Real in the “Negrera” arbitral corruption case.
It is worth noting that FC Barcelona is accused of providing financial bribes to Jose Maria Enriquez Negrera, former vice president of the Technical Committee for Referees in La Liga.
