– Spring will not come soon, says meteorologist on duty at the Meteorological Institute, Bente Wahl, to Dagbladet.
In the coming days, the sun will peek out over Eastern Norway, but it will still be relatively cold.
– There will be a couple of nice sunny days now, where the temperature barely creeps over to the plus side during the day. The sun will warm up a bit, but we will still have this cold air, says Wahl.
On Friday, milder air will move in over Norway, but it will also bring low pressure with it.
– It is somewhat the same type of low pressure as we experienced on Monday, but due to the fact that the air is milder, it is still uncertain whether it will come as rain or snow. It is difficult to say what it will start as right now, says Wahl.
On Monday, large parts of Eastern Norway were paralyzed by a heavy snowstorm. This led to traffic chaos in several places, a complete standstill in bus traffic and delays at Oslo Airport.
But at least it’s getting better now. A little while. But the really good spring weather can wait.
– It looks like we will get milder air going forward, which we will notice especially at night. From Friday it will be milder, but daytime temperatures will still not be very high. It will be normal March temperatures. Next week, the temperature may rise to 8-10 plus degrees in Eastern Norway, says the meteorologist.
– But the weekend doesn’t look so promising, then.
