Black Stones, Coahuila. – One of the priorities for the Ministry of Education for this year is to promote that as many people as possible who do not have their baccalaureate can complete that level of education and even a professional career.
This was expressed by the head of the agency, Francisco Saracho Navarro, who stressed that during the past year there were more than 18,000 people throughout the entity who managed to finish their high school, openly and online.
Of that amount, added the state official, 4,500 were precisely awarded scholarships by some of the municipalities, so the goal for this year is to seek to exceed those numbers, especially for women.
Saracho Navarro added that also, in coordination with the municipalities as well as the Coahuila Women’s Institute, it is sought that in addition to completing their baccalaureate, they have options for an engineering or bachelor’s degree
