John Laporta respond to criticism that comes related to the refereeing scandal Barcelona. According to him, all of that was intended to bring down Blaugrana.
Barcelona stumbled over the bribery case of the former vice president of the Spanish Referees Committee (CTA), Jose Maria Enriquez Negreira. The cules paid the former referee up to 8.4 million euros between 2001-2018.
The case is being investigated by the Barcelona Prosecutor’s Office, which sent a complaint to the court last week. Barcelona was accused of paying money to Negreira to get the referee to take sides Blaugrana.

“Real Madrid would like to express its deepest concern regarding the scale of the facts and emphasize its trust in the legal system,” Real Madrid said in a statement.
“The club agrees that, in order to maintain its legal rights, it will appear in court when the judge opens the case to the affected parties.”
Barcelona itself denies having bribed Negreira to get the referee to take sides Blaugrana. club President, John Laportaaccused this case of being a black campaign to attack his club.
Shortly after Real Madrid released an official statement, Laporta responded on social media. He asked Barcelona fans to unite against those who want to bring them down.
“Cules, don’t worry. Barça are innocent of what they were accused of and victims of the campaign against their honor in which everyone is now complicit,” tweeted John Laporta in twitter.
“Not surprisingly, we will defend Barca and show that the Club is not at fault. There is a lot to fix,” he concluded.
