Mela became the star of children’s hearts after appearing in Weekend Breakfast with Nova. There was speculation that she arrived on the show under the influence of alcohol. Soukup described the whole situation around Dada as a lynching.
Dada’s support
The owner and presenter of TV Barrandov issued a statement on his Instagram. “At the moment, Dada Patrasová is being slandered. That she came to Breakfast with Nova, babbling confusedly and that she looked ugly and must have been drunk,” he said at the beginning of his post. “How a woman looks is simply not commented on. I don’t know if she was drunk, I don’t really care. He has his years. And saying if she’s swollen, asking if she’s had botox, if her hair was better or worse a week ago, that seems demented to me,” he said in defense of Dada. The media tycoon further commented on the fact that he too probably experienced Patrasova slightly drunk on the air. It should have been at the time when Slováček returned home after the end of his relationship with Gelemová. “It seemed a little untrustworthy, she was probably a little under the influence,” he admitted.
After a few days, Dada herself commented on the whole situation. “In addition to what is written, just that I went to Nova with flu and fever. My fault. Whoever wants to beat a dog always finds a stick. I shouldn’t have gone there sick. As I get over it, the flu sticks with me, ” she stated in her defense for eXtra.cz.
Soukup as critic
Soukup himself has been very critical of a number of celebrities in the past. For example, he took a dig at the actress Jiřina Bohdalová, who, according to him, has to sweep every party. Last year, he also tackled Petr Vojnar on his TV, several times there were rumors that the presenter only wants to become famous alongside Lucie Vondráčková and he can’t do anything. Even his almost mother-in-law Veronika Žilková did not escape his insults. Even his current partner and expectant mother of his child, Agáta Hanychová, does not go far for harsh words. In the autumn of last year, in the show Holčičky, she called the actress Jitka Čvančarová a fat lady. She subsequently apologized for her words on Instagram.
