In the first round of the Premier League, Kerala United won by one goal, while in the Super Six, Wayanad United FC won by two goals. Wayanad United FC has defeated all the talented teams of the state like Kerala Police, Blasters, Gokulam Kerala in the league matches. There are seven from Wayanad in the 21-member XI. And three foreign players are also strong. Coach Sanush Raj said that he hopes to win through the team’s overall performance without giving importance to any particular individual. The coach said that it will be a tough competition. The team chairman is CK Shamim Bakar, a native of Pinangode.
