Martin Müller tested the Toyota Hilux in a special expedition modification with a residential structure and sturdy bumpers. It was a matter of course not only the front winch, which was cleverly hidden under the license plate, but also the complete protection of the chassis with metal covers. The Japanese pick-up was powered by a 2.8-liter diesel engine that produced 204 horsepower and a torque equal to 500 Nm. Shifting was handled by a six-speed automatic transmission.
