BUFFALO, NY — Artemi Panarin scored on the power play at 2:02 into overtime on Saturday to give the New York Rangers a 2-1 win over the Buffalo Sabers.
Patrick Kane netted his second in four appearances for his new club, while Igor Shesterkin made 32 saves.
The Rangers’ last three wins have come over 60 minutes, including Thursday at the Bell Centre.
Rangers have lost only once in their last 11 games against Buffalo.
Jeff Skinner scored for the Sabers, who were beaten for the fourth straight time. The team has won only once in seven matches.
