Launching the “Libya’s Future with its Youth” initiative

International Law organized a training course within the initiative “Libya’s Future is with its Youth.”

The session permeated several axes, the most important of which are the features of civil and political society, cultural diversity, strategic planning, and measuring the effectiveness of institutions.

The course was presented by the international expert in human development, Dr. Bassem Hatahet, and a number of those interested in human rights in the European Parliament.

The presence of young people from most of the Libyan cities, regardless of their diverse cultures, came from the south, the center, the west and the east. Young people from the category of people with disabilities, for whom the center allocates special programs to support them, and through an initiative to support youth, participated in the program (Libya’s future is with its youth).

The center, through the delegated Secretary-General, will continue to organize and support several other courses in various fields to develop youth capabilities, raise competencies, and try to give them an opportunity and support them through conferences and dialogue forums that will advance Libya. Libya cannot be built without youth, and therefore the initiative was launched and worked on.

At the end of the session, the representative of the center in Tripoli, Salma Al-Manfi, confirmed that several upcoming sessions will be held after the blessed month of Ramadan.
