The shopkeeper once denied responsibility
According to comprehensive domestic media reports, when a man surnamed Zhou in Chongqing visited the hot pot restaurant involved in the incident last Saturday (4th), he actually fished out a whole mouse that had been boiled and had no skin. Hairy tripe (the third stomach of a cow is “omasum”, and the hairy tripe is commonly known as “beef louver”. In some places, the two are slightly different in position), but after learning the truth, they “flushed into the toilet Vomited”. A friend of Mr. Zhou also said that he went straight to the toilet and “vomited twice, almost vomiting bile.”
Mr. Zhou pointed out that initially the store owner hoped that the two parties could resolve it privately, but the store later refused to accept the account, so he had no choice but to call the police. After the police and health authorities arrived at the scene, the store even accused Mr. Zhou of throwing the mouse into the hot pot. Mr. Zhou was annoyed and posted a photo of the dead mouse on the Internet.
Mr. Zhou also pointed out that since he broke the news on the Internet, he was threatened by the relevant personnel of the store to delete the post. Faced with the store’s handling, Mr. Zhou decided to hand it over to the official investigation, emphasizing that he would no longer accept “privacy”. When the store was interviewed, it claimed that it never “forced customers to delete the article” or committed any violations or attacks. It said that it would cooperate with the investigation in accordance with legal procedures, and “it will be dealt with as it should be dealt with” after the investigation results are released.
The local market supervision and administration bureau later notified that Mr. Zhou’s complaint was preliminarily determined to be true, and a case has been filed for investigation of the store involved, and the store involved has also voluntarily closed down to cooperate with the investigation.
