In the United States they captured a wild cat, specifically a copy african Serval, which after being examined tested positive for cocaine; a fact that has drawn attention.
The find was made in ohio state in january, when the dog guards dHamilton County saw it in a tree in Oakland, achieving the capture of the wild cat.
“It was certainly a sight to see, and after speaking to the cat expert, he said we did a great job. And we were also very lucky because this cat could have torn us apart and killed us,” Hamilton County, Ohio, office chief of the dog warden Troy Taylor told WKRC.
However, what most caught the attention of this cat is that it tested positive for cocaine, something completely strange and in the United States they associate the case with the movie “Cocaine Bear” a horror comedy about an animal altered by drugs.

The refuge that rescued Amiry was not equipped to house wildlife, so he sent him to the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden, where he is being treated for a wound on one of his legs.
It was there that they took a drug test where they discovered that he had cocaine in his system.. It is not the first time that the Cincinnati Zoo is home to an animal that tests positive for a narcotic, because in 2022, they rescued a capuchin monkey named Neo, who had methamphetamine in his body.
Amiry (the wild cat) is doing very well there, and it is hoped that the zoo can become a member of the Cat Ambassador Program, whose primary goal is to educate visitors on the importance of feral cat predators and raise money for cheetah conservation.
