Married couple Kristen (51) and Tim (48) Smith were ecstatic when they took over the new house in Arkansas in the USA a short time ago.
But when they started the renovation, they got a surprise they won’t soon forget:
Race for this
Hidden inside the wall were loads of old cigarette packs and Viagra pills.
– We reacted with complete shock and disgust, says Kristen Smith to the news agency Jam Press.
Filled an entire garbage bag
The unusual discovery was made when Tim Smith had to cut a small hole in the wall to install a new socket.
He discovered that something was stuck on the inside of the wall, and soon after the old fun fell out, to the couple’s great horror.
– But we couldn’t do anything but laugh at the whole situation, especially when we discovered the viagra pills, says Kristen Smith.
– I didn’t ask for this
– Whoever did this must have decided to empty their cigarettes into the wall around 10-15 years ago, she adds.
The couple from Georgia had not expected to find anything in the wall, and were particularly surprised by the large amount involved.
– We haven’t counted the packages, but we have filled up an entire garbage bag, says Kristen Smith.
Big mystery: – No clue
Now she and her husband wonder how the pills and cigarettes found their way into the wall.
After the clean-up, they set about “investigating” the bizarre discovery.
– The cigarette packs we found are not from the 1950s, so we know that this wall was put in later, explains Kristen Smith.
– Will haunt me forever
Now they wonder if the new house might be hiding more secrets:
– We had no idea that there would be anything inside the wall, so right now we are wondering if there could be something in the other walls as well.
Kristen Smith has shared a post about the incident on Facebook, which has received over 9,000 likes. And the reactions have naturally flowed in:
“It probably wouldn’t have been necessary to take those Viagra pills if the person in question hadn’t smoked so much,” reads one of the comments.
“Have you checked that there isn’t a stranger living in your attic,” jokes another.
