– We see that there are many minors who are very drunk. They are taken care of by the Red Cross, says Operations Manager Tore Solberg.

He encourages all parents to ask their children what their plans are in Holmenkollen.
– Have control over your children and listen to what they have to do. Parents of minors who are intoxicated are contacted, says Solberg.
On Twitter, the police urge parents to “follow up their hopefuls throughout the afternoon”.

After five miles, the police will clear the area and direct people home, says the operations manager.
He emphasizes that Ruter has set up several departures from Holmenkollen during the day and evening. The police will also be present as long as there is a need, he says.

Oustorp is also very impressed by the support people give each other.
