Women are a fundamental part of the family nucleus Therefore, it is important to help those who face breast and cervical cancer, especially those who are taking care of a minor, said the governor of Michoacán, Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla.

“Every woman in Michoacán in the specific case of cancer feels accompanied,” she said during the conference held this morning in the city of Morelia.

Within the kick-off event of the program for the Well-being of Women with Invasive Breast and Cervical Cancer, Caregivers of Minors, the state president reported that they will support with four thousand pesos per month 1,500 women to continue with their treatment.

“We must reaffirm our humanist character, we must not lose that sensitivity,” he said.

Ramírez Bedolla stressed that there are already several social programs to protect vulnerable people, which is why this is added to the list of benefits of the Michoacán Welfare Secretariat (SEDEBI).

It should be noted that it will be the state agency that carries out the list of women caregivers who have the condition to be taken into account and can receive this resource.
