Ciudad Victoria, Tamps. – To verify that the attention and repair of water leaks is carried out urgently, the mayor Eduardo Gattás Báez carried out a work supervision tour by COMAPA crews, an organization through which more than 3,000 reports have been attended by that problem.
In the company of the general manager, Eliseo García Leal, he went to Río Frío street in the Zozaya subdivision where he informed residents of the sector that in leak repair 15 to 20 daily reports are attended and the number of crews was increased to 18 for greater coverage. .
He assured that this area is being worked intensively, repairing leaks at different times, seeking to avoid as much as possible the wasting of the vital liquid in the face of the critical situation that exists due to the shortage of water.
In that direction, he announced the start of the awareness campaign ¡Ciérrale Pelao! that will be multiplying in social networks, radio and television spots, triptychs in the streets and visits to schools, insisting on the care and proper use of water.
He recalled that Victoria currently continues to receive 1,340 liters per second of the 1,700 that it requires for its supply and said that it will be in the behavior of the fluid how the strategy on the issue of distribution in the city is maintained or changed.
