Hamburg – The Canadian singer Avril Lavigne (38, “Sk8er Boi”) will also stop in six German cities on their 2023 world tour.
After her performance in the Columbiahalle in Berlin, the songwriter will be going to the Alsterdorfer Sporthalle for a concert on Monday, April 17th. Admission begins at 6 p.m., start is at 8 p.m. However, there are currently no more tickets available for the events.
Avril Lavigne had not originally planned the stop in Hamburg: Due to the great demand for the concerts scheduled for Berlin (April 15), Offenbach (April 18), Munich (April 20) and Cologne (May 3), the additional shows for Stuttgart (April 28) and Hamburg were then added.
Their tour of Europe and Great Britain should have actually taken place last year. But due to the ongoing travel and event restrictions caused by the corona pandemic, the artist had to postpone the tour dates again.
Successful musical is coming back to Hamburg – another one is leaving
“It was not easy for me to make this decision, but it will help us to be able to play every single date of the tour,” the singer apologized to her fans for the circumstances.
In the USA, her tour could take place as planned. “I really missed being on stage. Singing with the audience brings me so much happiness,” Avril Lavigne was then quoted as saying by the organizers. That’s why she’s looking forward to the tour through Europe, Japan, China and Southeast Asia all the more.
In addition to their hits from the 2000s, viewers can also look forward to new music from their current album “Head Above Water”.
