Man with identity and residence term for theft

The Bragança PSP detained a man for committing the crime of theft, on Wednesday.

According to that security force, the alert was given at 11:45 am. In question, a robbery on a public road, “using offenses to physical integrity”, which meant that the victim was left without 100 euros.

To the PSP, the victim provided “the description and name of the suspect”, who would be arrested minutes later, in the vicinity of the scene.

According to the PSP, “once the individual was arrested, half of the sum of money taken from the victim was seized, as well as an umbrella, used to attack her and complete the theft”.

The victim was eventually transported to the hospital in Bragança, “with injuries to the right eye and lower lip, having been saturated with 15 stitches”.

As for the detainee, he was present at court and saw the coercive measure of term of identity and residence applied to him.
