In this report, we follow up with you a review of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra phone battery in terms of charging speed and the difference in battery performance and life between this generation of the phone and the previous generation, as well as comparing it with the latest Apple phone IPhone 14 Pro Max, which is the strongest competitor in the global market for phones today.
Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra battery performance
The new Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra phone uses the latest generation of Qualcomm processors, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, which is designed to be energy efficient, because it works with a 4-nanometer architecture, and there are some points in which the new phone can outperform the previous generation. The phone is the S22 Ultra, and here are the most important of these points as follows:
- In terms of battery capacity, we find that both phones have the same capacity.
- In terms of performance, the new Galaxy S23 Ultra has proven to perform better while surfing the Internet, with a period of up to 4 additional hours compared to the previous generation.
- And when watching videos, the new phone battery provides an additional five hours.
- The Galaxy S23 Ultra can be used for phone calls for about 18 hours longer than the previous phone.
Phone fast charging test
By making a comparison between the new Galaxy S23 Ultra phone and the previous generation of Ultra phones, as well as with the phone’s strongest competitor, which is the Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max phone, we find that there is a noticeable superiority of the new phone from Samsung over both phones, and here are the most important points of comparison:
- The S23 Ultra phone outperforms the S22 Ultra in charging speed by about 8%, despite the fact that the two batteries have equal capacity, as well as the charging speed of 45 watts.
- As for the comparison with the iPhone 14 Pro Max, we find that Samsung has a noticeable advantage over Apple by approximately 20% in charging speed.
- Both phones are fully charged up to 100% in approximately 59 minutes.
