Japan has been plagued in recent weeks by some “pranksters” who flouted the hygiene rules in the well-known sushi restaurants, where the food is delivered to the customer on a conveyor belt. Videos circulated on social media in which a few young people touch, lick and then put back the products that pass by on the belt.
