In Regensburg, several hundred people took part in the warning strikes on Friday. According to the police, about 500 people gathered for a rally in the city center after a train through the city. Above all, employees of the Regensburg district hospital Medbo took part in the warning strike.

On posters they called for a better appreciation of nursing professions. “Applause was yesterday, today is payday” and “Yesterday still relevant to the system, today irrelevant again” could be read, for example.

In addition, employees of the municipal recycling center, street cleaning, the building yards, the municipal garden department, the sewage treatment plant and the city’s sewer maintenance department stopped working. Garbage collection was also on strike. Those affected should simply leave bins that are not emptied. According to the city, the emptying should then be made up for in the next few days.
