The XV Conference of Music returns to the church of San Sebastián de Toledo: all the programming

The XV Conference on Music in Rehabilitated Heritage, promoted by the Consortium of the City of Toledo, will open the spring cycle this SundayMarch 12, with a schedule of six music concerts of chamber that will be developed between the months of March and Mayevery 15 days as usual.

Thus, the church of San Sebastián, one of the buildings recovered by the Consortium, will once again house the concerts at 12.00 hours which will be coordinated by the association ‘Momentum. Juventudes Musicales de Toledo’ and access to them will be free until full capacity is reached, the Consortium has communicated in a press release.

The cultural activity starts this March 12 with the musical appointment of bassoon and flute by Jesús de la Rosa González and Carmen Galán Mora, both master’s students at the Escuela Superior de Música de Catalunya (ESMUC) in Barcelona, ​​and natives of the Toledo municipalities of La Puebla de Montalbán and Chueca, respectively.

Likewise, Carmen Morales will interpret ‘Partita in A minor’ for solo flute by JS Bach and Jesús de la Rosa will interpret ‘Sonata de Saint Saëns for bassoon in SolM’. The repertoire will end with the joint interpretation of ‘Sept improntus’ for flute and bassoon by Jean Françaix.

On the other hand, the March 26th the Turina string quartet from the Katarina Gurska School in Madrid will take place.

Programming will continue on April 16th with the Kogan Trio from the Teresa Berganza Conservatory in Madrid and the April 30th the concert by Isabel Anaya and Javier Zamora, also trained at the same conservatory, will take place.

He May 7th it will be the turn of Juan Lara Mijancos from the Conservatory of Extremadura and the May 21th the closing of the cycle will be celebrated with the musical proposal of the Quantum Quintet of the Superior Conservatory of Music of Castilla-La Mancha, in Albacete.

The church of San Sebastián welcomes since 2013 the Conference on Music in the Rehabilitated Heritage, an initiative with which the Consortium intends to combine the recovery of heritage and its conservation with the development and promotion of cultural activities linked to the city.
