Raul Martinezknown as ‘Chunky‘, is the artist who will plant the monument. He counts among his works the claim failure that showed two falleras kissing. The main figure is inspired by Cristina Gomez.
The fault is titled «Pit»that means chest in Valencian and which presents the sculpture of a naked woman holding a Red heart. He raises his left arm to show the scars of her mastectomy.
The idea that the artist had was make visible the way in which some women and men suffer from breast cancer, showing how there are some women who decide not to wear a prosthesis and thus bet at the same time on the body diversityabout which Gómez assures that it is necessary to «normalize» without «being frightened, nor feeling fear or rejection».
