Thursday saw widespread protests against the Israeli government’s plan to reform the judicial system and escalated tensions in the West Bank
Israeli police announced that a Palestinian shot and wounded 3 people in central Tel Aviv late Thursday.
The Israeli police said they “neutralised” the shooter in Tel Aviv.
The Israeli Ambulance Service confirmed that 3 people were injured in the shooting, and are receiving treatment at the hands of the emergency services. Medics said that one of the injured was in critical condition.
Television footage also showed large numbers of police and paramedics at the site.
The shooting coincided with a day of widespread protests against the Israeli government’s plan to reform the judicial system and rising tensions in the West Bank.
