Officials from the Coordination of Investigations Against Organized Crime of the Maturín Municipal Delegation managed to recover 325 expired and controlled medications in the Sabana Grande sector, Las Cocuizas parish, Maturín municipality of Monagas state.
Thanks to an exhaustive and meticulous field research work, it was learned that Merary Navarro Carreño (37), had been dedicating himself to the illegal commercialization of medicines for different types of pathologies and surgical medical supplies of dubious origin for six months, in a small commercial premises. located in the sector, named Merafarma, without having any type of permit.
Among the medicines recovered by the Cicpc, ondansetron, Alpram and sutures stand out; Likewise, a point of sale with its respective charger and a Blu cell phone was collected as evidence.
Submitted the case to the order of the Second Prosecutor’s Office of the Public Ministry of Maturín, Monagas state.
