Indiscrète lingerie, made in Chauvigny in Vienne, exhibited at the Elysée

The clothing company, specializing in high-end lingerie, is one of the 106 companies selected for the second edition of the major exhibition of made in France which will take place at the Palais de l’Elysée on July 3 and 4.

The letterhead of the Elysée Palace arrived this Thursday, May 20 on the desk of Michel Gouzon, the CEO of Indiscrète. A letter signed by the President of the Republic informing him that his company had been selected from among 2,300 candidates for the second edition of the great exhibition of made in France. It is an honour, a welcome recognition of the work accomplished despite the dramas and the difficulties. The employees were very touched when they learned of it.“says Michel Gouzon.

A company that has come a long way

In full health today with 19 new hires of employees since 2019 and an expansion of the premises 400m² in progress, prying come a long way.
Specializing in high-end lingerie and entirely made in France, the company was created in 2010 by three former Aubade employees, made redundant after the brand relocated to Tunisia.
In 2018, the bankruptcy of one of its main customers led to very significant cash flow difficulties. The Chauvinoise factory is placed in receivership.
In August 2018, this situation led one of the creators and manager, Didier Legrand, to kill himself on the company’s premises.
In January 2019, the investor and businessman Michel Gouzon injected significant funds into the corsetry factory and his plan for the continuation of the company seems to have since borne fruit.

2020: an anniversary and a reward

In 2020 the lingerie factory, located in Chauvigny in Vienne, celebrated its tenth anniversary. An anniversary accompanied by a nice surprise: in December 2020 the RMC trophy for SMEs was awarded to the brand in the “made in France” category with the key 100,000 euros equivalent in advertising spots on national radio.

Under the golds of the Elysée Palace

We would like to show adornments, ensembles, the men’s collection too. We will see the number of pieces that we can exhibit depending on the place that will be allocated to us.

Intended to highlight the know-how of French territories, this exhibition of products made in France at the Elysée Palace will offer the Indiscrète brand new visibility, but its CEO considers that it is always difficult to measure the fallout from this type of event. For the time being, he is waiting to know the terms.

Three other companies from Poitou-Charentes will present their work during this eclectic exhibition: Ateliers Drevelle of Cognac with their “Tamo” jewelry box, the company PIN of La Rochelle, which designed a waste collection compactor, and the CEE Robert SCHISLER de Thouars for its Earth Cup paper cup.

During the first edition in January 2020, Aigle represented the region.
