The developers at Avalanche Software recently released a massive update for Hogwarts Legacy with an impressive list of patch notes. In a new update, almost a month after the release of the game, the main problem on the PC version has finally been fixed. Steam and EGS players can now forget about severe FPS drops and other performance glitches.

Among the huge list of fixes in the patch, the developers also indicated that they have made major changes to the overall performance of Hogwarts Legacy. As a comparison of game performance after the patch and before it shows, Avalanche Software did not fool the players and the optimization was noticeably improved.

First of all, the updated version of Hogwarts Legacy now boasts the absence of FPS drawdowns, which often occurred during transitions to different locations and areas. Now the frame counter looks much more stable, and there is no stuttering. In addition, when playing at ultra graphics settings without ray tracing, Hogwarts Legacy averages 10 FPS more than before the update.

Hogwarts Legacy is available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The magical action will hit PlayStation 4 and Xbox One this May.
