Offenbach (dpa/lhe) – People in Hesse will have to prepare for rain and storms in the coming days. On Thursday, in addition to numerous clouds, there will also be showers in some areas, the German Weather Service (DWD) announced. The maximum temperatures are 6 degrees in the north and 13 degrees south of the Main. In the mountains there should be strong to stormy gusts into the afternoon; otherwise the wind coming from the southwest is moderate.

On Friday it will remain cloudy to overcast and rainy in Hesse. The maximum values ​​are 10 degrees in the north and 14 degrees in the south of the country. According to the DWD, there is initially a predominantly weak to moderate wind from the southwest, which increases to strong gusts in the mountains. According to the DWD, there will be strong to stormy gusts throughout the state on Friday evening and then gusts of wind in the mountains.

The skies will finally clear up on Saturday. There are only a few clouds left; it remains largely dry, as the DWD announced. The maximum values ​​are 5 degrees in the north and 8 degrees in the south. In addition, there will be a moderate, sometimes fresh wind in the north.
