Barrage of Russian Missiles Rain on Ukrainian Cities, Sirens Are Wailing

KIEV – Barrage of missile attacks Russia rained down on the cities in Ukraine , including the nation’s capital; Kiev, Odesa port and northeastern city of Kharkiv on Thursday (9/3/2023) morning. This attack triggered air raid sirens to wail across the country.

In Kiev, Mayor Vitali Klitschko said two people were injured after explosions in the city’s Svyatoshynsky and Holosiivskyi districts.

According to him, the electricity supply has been cut off in advance to around 15 percent of Kiev’s population.

In eastern Ukraine, 15 missiles hit the city of Kharkiv and the surrounding area, including hitting residential buildings. This was conveyed by the local governor By Syniehubov.

He vowed to reveal more details about the scale of the damage or loss of life in Ukraine’s second-largest city.

“Critical infrastructure objects are again in the crossfire,” he said in a Telegram post, as quoted Reuters.

Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported on Telegram that there were power problems in several parts of the city.

In the Odesa region, Governor Maksym Marchenko said on Telegram that a mass missile attack had hit energy facilities in the port city, cutting off electricity.
