The news of Edoardo Tavassi second in televoting also reached the ear of Antonella Fiordelisi, who didn’t take it very well. Not because of her outcome per se, but because she is held in suspense until the very end in every important televoting and thus she is given the illusion of always being one step away from first place. The competitor vented with Oriana Marzoli: “If Tavassi was the second, it was more logical that Tavassi came to the studio with you at the end. Do you understand Oriana? It doesn’t make sense that every time they use me like this for the studio and deceive me. I wasn’t even among the first finalists”.
