A legend in fashion became a father at the age of 82

The Italian fashion designer Roberto Cavalli became a father for the sixth time at the age of 82, the Italian “Repubblica” reports. The baby boy is from his 38-year-old Swedish partner Sandra Nilsson, with whom they have been together for 15 years.

The newborn baby has been named Giorgio, after the Italian fashion designer’s father from Florence, who was killed by the Nazis in World War II. The news was revealed by Roberto Alessi, director of the Novella 200 site, to whom Roberto Cavalli confided: “I named him Giorgio after my father, whom the Nazis shot in the carnage in Cavriglia when I was 4 years old.”

From his two previous marriages, the famous fashion designer Roberto Cavalli has five children who are now adults.
