Until now, almost everyone could try this software addition on their phone thanks to third-party applications. However, Realme is the first brand to offer the so-called Dynamic Island on Android right out of the box.
This is the area around the screen cutout, which can increase or decrease depending on the state of the phone, and at the same time display the battery and charging status, the number of steps or the delivered text message. Realme C55 however, Dynamic Island (officially called “Mini Capsule”) took a somewhat unconventional approach, while Apple effectively “hides” it in the OLED display, it will probably be quite visible with the IPS LCD panel…
…and we will also wait for him. Realme has introduced the “first Android with Dynamic Island”, but users will still have to wait for this feature. It will arrive in the smartphone only after a necessary firmware update! The display itself has a diagonal of 6.72 inches, a 90Hz refresh rate and a maximum brightness of 680 nits. Two cameras (64 + 2 Mpx) await on the back, a non-replaceable 5,000mAh battery supports 33W charging via cable. It recharges to half its capacity in half an hour. The fingerprint reader is located on the side of the phone, alternatively you can use the face scanner to access the phone.
Key features of Realme C55
The phone runs on the Mediatek Helio G88, which is followed by 6 or 8 GB of operating memory. In addition, from 128 or 256 GB of storage, up to 16 GB of virtual RAM can be used. The phone also gets plus points for supporting microSD cards. Recharging is ensured by the USB-C connector, next to which there is also a headphone jack. In turn, NFC support will make contactless payment available. The Realme C55 went on sale in Asia right after the premiere, but its journey to Europe will take some time. The basic variant of 6/128 GB should cost approximately CZK 3,500 after conversion.
