The Ministry of Health reports that, with a cut-off date of yesterday, Tuesday, March 7, according to data from the Department of Health Information Statistics (DEIS), 2,170,304 doses of COVID-19 Bivalent Vaccine have been administered, corresponding to 26 .07% coverage of the target population estimated at 8,325,856 people.
Of the total doses administered, 188,303 correspond to health personnel under 50 years of age (49.43% coverage); 155,592 to people with chronic diseases under 50 years of age (14.72% coverage); 380,821 people between 50 and 59 years old (16.55% coverage); 602,927 to people between 60 and 69 years of age (34.81% coverage); 500,768 to people from 70 to 79 years old (50.74%); 264,251 people aged 80 and over (52.89% coverage); and 77,642 people from other prioritized groups under 50 years of age (5.67% coverage).
Regarding the primary vaccination schedules against SARS-CoV-2, which considers a target population of 15,200,840 people aged 18 and over, 94.3% (14,334,391) have completed their vaccination schedule.
During the day yesterday, Tuesday, March 7, from the target group of 18 years and over, 215 people were immunized. Meanwhile, in the target group between 3 and 17 years old, 400 people were immunized.

Regarding the reinforcement doses applied in the population over 3 years of age in the country, a total of 27,508,064 is reached. On the last day, 426 doses were administered, of which 176 correspond to people aged 18 and over, and 250 between 3 and 17 years of age.

In relation to the vaccination of children and adolescents between 3 and 17 years of age, which includes a total of 3,771,960 people, 89.33% (3,369,510) coverage is achieved with a complete scheme. In the group between 12 and 17 years old, 98.59% (1,474,115) coverage is registered with the complete scheme, while the group between 6 and 11 years old reaches 90.79% (1,406,934), and in the group between 3 and 5 years 67.18% (488,461).
