SPÖ manager Deutsch confirms “arbitrary action after ZiB2 interview”
Vienna (OTS) – Before the SPÖ Presidium next Wednesday, the fronts are becoming increasingly hard. As the daily newspaper ÖSTERREICH reports in its Thursday edition, the Burgenland SPÖ regional group of Hans Peter Doskozil no longer wants to transfer membership fees to the federal SPÖ. The background is that SPÖ-Pamela Rendi-Wagner had criticized the continuous fire from Burgenland in a ZiB2 interview.
Confronted with this by AUSTRIA, SPÖ federal manager Christian Deutsch confirms this announcement from Eisenstadt. “This announcement is an arbitrary and anti-social democratic action. In response to a ZiB 2 interview. I’ve never experienced anything like it,” says Deutsch, outraged in the ÖSTERREICH interview.
SPÖ members pay up to 6.50 euros per month to their respective state party. The SPÖ states transfer 30 percent of this to the federal party. This share from Burgenland is to be stopped in the future.
