Thus Felix Tshisekedi greeted, on the 18 FEBRUARY, on the sidelines of the 36th summit of the African Union (AU), the election of his compatriot Jean Kaseya as Director General of the Africa Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Africa CDC). Selected among 180 candidates, he replaces the Cameroonian John Nkengasong, appointed coordinator of the United States for the global fight against AIDS and special representative for global health issues in the department of state.
