In the review reMarkable 2 we raved about the amazing display technology, the ingenious combination of hardware, software and services that make this device the ultimate tool for focused work, capturing thoughts, writing, drawing and organizing notes of all kinds. But something was missing – you had to write by hand, with a stylus. Handwriting recognition works great, but it’s simply not ideal for large volumes of text.
The presented keyboard solves the problem reMarkable Type Folio. Just like the tablet itself, the covers and other accessories for it, the keyboard has style (leather in two variants Ink Black and Sepia Brown), functionality and a slim design. It connects to the tablet using magnets, does not require pairing, power or charging.
During work it serves as a stand with two display angles, after work it serves as a case and protects the tablet from both sides. The keys are “full size” and reMarkable makes variants with labels for British or American English, German, Spanish, French and Nordic languages.
The price is 199 euros. Users who had one of the paid plans of the Connect service active on March 6 are entitled to a discount – just log in to my.remarkable.com.
