Man handed over to medical care after police operation in Zurich

Shortly before 1 p.m., a doctor reported that a pensioner in Seefeld was in a medical emergency and that a third party might be at risk, as the city police announced on Tuesday evening. The rescue workers then moved out with a larger contingent to Nebelbachstrasse in Zurich’s district 8.

According to the announcement by the specialists of the Zurich city police, it was possible to find the man and the third person in the canton of St. Gallen unharmed. The man was handed over to medical care.

The police operation caused minor disturbances around the affected road for several hours. At no time was there a risk to uninvolved third parties. A team from Protection & Rescue Zurich was also deployed, it was said.
