The SHL’s penultimate round of the regular season is completed and for Leksand it was a difficult evening. They were whipped to defeat the already suspended jumbo Malmö to have a continued chance of direct advancement to the quarter-finals.

Instead, the team’s currently major problems with scoring continued and Malmö won by a whopping 4–1.
– We are leading the game, but we have to get into the mud in front of the goal and play a little straighter. Right now we have to fight a little extra to score goals and then you have to get into the muck and try to score some goals, said Leksand’s Martin Karlsson C More after the second period.
