After a long break, singer Laura Raila has prepared a new song for the listeners. It is true that the track called “Imperfect” was planned to start on the air much earlier and also with a wider scope, but it did not qualify for the Eurovision national selection.
Laura Ryla reveals that the song “Imperfect” by her and the song’s composer Eduards Semchonok was submitted to the competition “Supernova”, but it did not pass the selection. “We want the listeners to appreciate it for themselves. The biggest prize is the support of the listeners,” thinks the singer. Admittedly, this song would not have spoiled the overall picture in “Supernova”, because it is quite “Eurovision”, and the listeners will probably like it, however, Laura’s song cannot be evaluated as superior to the others that participated in the competition.
“”Imperfect” tells about a relationship where one person wants to see the other according to his/her own opinion, looking for someone else instead, not understanding that first of all you have to work with yourself. Dear women, you have to love yourself and if the other does not love, then he is a pedestrian!” so Laura Raila. “Nowadays, so many people are looking for something better, more beautiful, more money, but they forget how the relationship started and what was beautiful about it. A lot of energy must be invested in relationships to make them better and better. The other cannot be reeducated, but each of us can work with ourselves, we must respect and love ourselves, only then will the other respect us. There will be problems in any relationship – the most important thing is to know how to solve them. You have to love the other as he is! If this is not possible, then you should not get involved in such a relationship in the first place. You have to evaluate the pros and cons, the priorities of your life. Love yourself and be loved!” the singer explains the meaning of the song with detailed advice, just like a relationship consultant.
Not only the composer of the song, Eduards Semčonoks, participated in creating the arrangement of the song (he allegedly approached Laura to offer to sing this song, to which the singer immediately agreed, because the song fell into her heart), but also the producer Reinis Briģis, with whom Laura has already established a long-term cooperation – he is arranger of most of Laura Raila’s songs.
It should be noted that joint concerts with “Mirage Jazz Orchestra” are planned for the singer in the summer, but more specific information about them will follow.
