The dead baby found in a side arm of the river Lek last Friday was born after a full term pregnancy. That informs the police Broadcasting West.
The girl was found in a dark gray plastic bag in the water near the dike road Schuwacht near Lekkerkerk. The police said earlier that they are investigating the case and are also concerned whether the mother has received medical care.
