NASA Camera Captures Seconds of Meteor Hitting Moon

INSIDEN24.COM – For years, space objects in the form of meteors often cross and even crash into the earth we live in.

As NASA notes, almost every day there are at least 100 tons of meteors bombarding the Earth and some small amounts of them rubbing in the air.

Meteors that rub in the air, namely with the earth’s atmosphere and will produce a beautiful view like an airplane emitting fire behind it and are called falling meteors.

From the results of NASA’s camera research, it turns out that meteors that fall do not only hit or pass through the earth, but also on the moon.

Like the NASA camera capture that shows a meteor falling and crashing into the Moon.

We really can’t know much about other planets or the Moon and other satellites, because many instruments record the occurrence of distant stars every day.

The moon does not have an atmosphere like on Earth which can create air friction so if a celestial body falls right to earth it will produce a shooting star-style fireball show.

Several ways to see the results of the meteor landing on the moon are from the debris that is exposed to sunlight.

The moon has no atmosphere, meaning that everything that comes from outer space has no medium to brake it.

So that if a meteor falls on the moon high enough, it will show its traces on the lunar plains in the form of a crater.

Daichi Fujii, Kanagawa prefecture from Hiratsuka Japan has recorded a flash of light on the moon originating from a meteor strike, this happened on February 23, 2023.

According to him, the crater that was formed after the meteor hit the moon, according to his estimates, was dozens of meters in diameter.
