Prabowo Subianto and Surya Paloh Meet, Democratic Party Has No Hesitant to Support Anies Baswedan as a Presidential Candidate for 2024

WARTAKOTALIVE.COM – Kamhar Lakumani, Deputy Bappilu DPP Party Democrats said that his party had no doubts that the NasDem Party would be left behind in the Coalition for Change.

This was related to the General Chairperson of the Gerindra Party meeting Prabowo Subianto and Chairman of the NasDem Party Surya Palo at Padepokan Garuda Yaksa, Hambalang, Bogor, West Java, on Sunday (5/3/2023).

Kamhar Lakumani emphasized that until now the coalition carrying the presidential candidate (bacapres) Anies Baswedan it’s still solid.

“The Coalition for Change is getting more solid. We believe these three parties will be stable, there is no doubt,” Kamhar Lakumani told reporters, Tuesday (7/3/2023).

He said that Prabowo and Paloh’s meeting was a natural thing, especially since the two of them were part of the coalition government of Indonesian President Joko Widodo (Jokowi).

Moreover, said Kamhar Lakumanir, various current political dynamics that are happening require a quick and joint response.

“Starting from the election dynamics related to the open and closed proportional system, to the controversial Central Jakarta (Central Jakarta) District Court decision which resulted in a postponement of the election in its decision,” he said.

According to Kamhar Lakumani, the gathering of political elites is very important to create shady political dynamics and to maintain harmonious relations with all elements of the nation.

“Including the contest for the upcoming 2024 presidential election,” said Kamhar Lakumani.

Previously, the Gerindra Party and the NasDem Party respected each other’s differences in political decisions ahead of the 2024 Election.

This was conveyed by the Chairperson of the Gerindra Party Prabowo Subianto, after receiving a friendly visit from the Chairman of the Nasdem Party Surya Palo.
